王彤1Dr. Tong wang came to Houston from China eight years ago.  She earned both an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in China.  She have been practicing and teaching acupuncture and oriental medicine for more than 20 years.  In the U.S., she started applying her trade at the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2010 and earned her acupuncture license in Texas in 2012.

Her professional training in China focused on integrating Chinese and Western medicine philosophies, particularly in neurology and acupuncture.  One of the projects in which she participated, the use of acupuncture to prevent dementia, received national and governmental awards.  She have also published over 20 research papers on acupuncture and oriental medicine.

She specialize in the relief of many pain conditions.  These include, but are not limited to:  neck, shoulder and lower back pain; sciatic pain; migraines and other headache pain; menstrual pain; arthritis; fibromyalgia; endocrine disorders such as PMS, irregular, late and early menstrual cycle; obesity; and other conditions including depression, anxiety, stress, insomnia, stroke problems of aging, and facial rejuvenation,etc.

王彤博士1994年大学本科毕业于天津中医药大学针灸推拿专业 ,毕业后留校任教,期间于1998年至2004年继续在本校攻读了硕士和博士学位。2011王彤博士来到美国休斯敦华美中医学院担任针灸和中医教师,并于2012年取得了德州针灸师执照,2018年9月王彤博士在休斯敦开设了自己的中医针灸诊所。
